Leaving A Trace

We go through life leaving an invisible trace that everyone sees. It’s our most influential tool.

Today I gave the Thai government the finger prints of my right hand. Just the fingers. I guess they figure the thumb will never be far behind!

They want to track me.
– To keep me safe.
– Or them.
Not sure.
At least while I’m in their country.

Everywhere I go I’m leaving a trace with every touch
– Taxi
– Hotel
– Restaurant

But not just my fingers
– Transactions
– GPS
– Check-ins

I’m leaving a trace.

We all are.
All of the time
– Every conversation
– Every meeting
– Every act of kindness or otherwise
Leaves a trace.
